Christians on Campus

22-28 January 2024

Sorry, the time is up.

This week-long training is a set-apart time to spend with the Lord and be immersed into Him together with others (2 Tim 2:22). In our daily life we often miss the Lord although He lives within us. This is because our mind is so strong and we are not used to using our spirit. In this training we exercise our spirit so that we may live according to the spirit (Rom 8:4, 6, 9).A jungle is full of life, but a garden is pleasant because it has been "trained", it has been cultivated. So also, the Lord's life is growing in us and He wants to prune us that the life may grow even better (John 15:2).This is a wonderful opportunity to spend with other students who love the Lord. Give yourself to love the Lord. No other way is so prevailing, and no other way is so safe, so rich, and so full of enjoyment. (Life and Building in the Song of Songs, Ch. 2).

Our Pursuit

  1. This is a time to seek first God's kingdom and His righteousness.
  2. Maintain a proper spirit and attitude at all times in cooperation with the training.
  3. These seven days are separated unto the Lord; no one should use this time for promoting social relationships with the opposite gender. Rather, let us cultivate an atmosphere of prayer, fellowship in life, and seeking the Lord.

How Can I prepare for the Student Training?

First of all, pray! The more we open to the Lord in prayer for this time the more He will have the free way to speak to us and work in us during the training. We also recommend the following ministry books by Witness Lee:

  1. The Vital Groups, ch. 8
  2. Life Study of 1 John, msgs. 27-29 & 34-35
  3. Life Study of 1 Corinthians, msg. 60

Ask a serving one to help you obtain these if you don't have access to them.
